Dr. Giffin-Rao is board certified in family medicine. She obtained both her undergraduate and medical degrees from Loyola University-Chicago. She completed her residency at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Dr. Giffin-Rao's practice focuses on the full spectrum of family medicine, with special emphasis on maternity care providing low-risk prenatal care up to 32 weeks - no deliveries, and preventive medicine.

In her free time, Dr. Giffin-Rao enjoys spending time with her family, literature, cooking, drawing, and sewing.

_I embrace the concept where the patient, along with their whole family, can receive care for their entire well-being. I enjoy caring for pregnant women who want respectful prenatal and birth care, along with a supportive breastfeeding environment after their baby is born. I hope to work with each individual to prevent or decrease suffering.
