Emily Mann, MD

Dr. Emily Mann specializes in a wide range of surgical procedures, including hernia repair, management of soft tissue lesions such as lipomas and cysts, gallbladder surgery, treatment of benign colon and rectal conditions, and complex wound care. She has a special interest in minimally invasive techniques, particularly robotic surgery, which allows for faster recovery and improved outcomes.

Her research focuses on developing enhanced recovery pathways to help patients heal more quickly and comfortably after surgery. Dr. Mann is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care and works closely with patients and their care teams to ensure the best possible experience from consultation through recovery.

Dr. Mann is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

Originally from south Louisiana, Dr. Mann enjoys traveling, gardening, and cheering on LSU football (Geaux Tigers!).
