Emily Capp, PA-C

Emily Capp, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in orthopedic surgery who is passionate about helping adults stay active, mobile, and pain-free. She sees patients ages 18 and older and provides care throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area.

Emily treats a wide range of bone, joint, and muscle conditions, including fractures, sprains and strains, dislocations, ligament tears, tendon injuries, osteoarthritis, and tendonitis and bursitis. She works closely with patients who are dealing with both sudden injuries and ongoing orthopedic concerns, helping them understand their condition and feel confident in their care plan.

In her practice, Emily performs focused physical exams of joints, muscles, and bones, orders and reviews imaging such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, and provides hands-on treatments including joint injections, joint aspirations, casting, and splinting for fractures. She also plays an important role in post-operative care and follow-up, guiding patients through recovery and rehabilitation while teaching strategies to prevent future injuries and safely return to daily activities.

Emily's passion for orthopedics comes from the ability to restore function, reduce pain, and improve quality of life through both acute treatment and ongoing care. She values patient education and believes that understanding the "why" behind a treatment plan helps patients heal more confidently and successfully.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants.

Outside of the clinic, Emily enjoys cooking, gardening, and exercising.
