Candyse Brewer, APRN-CNS

Candyse Brewer, APRN-CNS, provides care for adults experiencing coronary and vascular diseases. During her nursing journey, Candyse has dedicated her knowledge and skills to serving others. Candyse believes in taking time to ensure each patient feels informed, supported and confident in making decisions about their care.

Candyse began her academic journey at Canadian Valley Technical School, before completing a licensed practical nursing program at Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma City. She earned an associate degree in nursing from Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City, a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Throughout her nursing journey, Candyse has served in multiple roles including nine years as a registered nurse for cardiovascular units at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital. She has cared for Oklahomans as an outpatient cardiology advanced practice registered nurse for the past six years. Candyse is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.

When not caring for her patients, Candyse enjoys volunteering with Scouting America as a Den Leader for her two sons. She is passionate about mentoring youth and supporting their character development, resiliency and leadership skills. Candyse loves to read and travel, particularly to the national parks.
