Dr. Smith is board certified in family medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Genesis Education Foundation-University of Iowa after earning his medical degree at Southern Illinois University in Springfield. Dr. Smith has been practicing in St. Charles County since 2001 and has been with SSM since 2003. He has a special medical interest in geriatrics and adult preventative health.

Dr. Smith uses telehealth services to conduct video office visits with current, established patients for: upper respiratory infection, sore throat, cough, seasonal allergies, skin rashes or lesions, mouth and cold sores, flu symptoms, conjunctivitis, UTI, gout, yeast infection and travel medication.
