Brian has over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist. He works with adult patients with a wide variety of problems, including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorders, anger management, stress management, communication strategies and conflict resolution, grief and loss, adjustment to life changes, and personality disorders.

Brian's approach is evidence-based, while being flexible and creative based on each patient's unique needs and goals. He is interactive and collaborative with patients as far as building a therapeutic relationship, providing support, and discussing strategies to achieve goals. He utilizes techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectic-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, assertiveness, communication techniques, and schema therapy. Brian helps clients identify their own strengths and resiliencies as part of their treatment.
