Dr. Brett Jagger is an infectious disease specialist who provides evaluations and treatments for general infectious diseases for patients ages 18 and older. He diagnoses, treats, and manages infections for hospitalized patients, through direct patient care as well as collaborating with attending physicians. His goal is to listen to patients and provide them with the most appropriate and effective medical care to help them lead their best, healthiest lives.
Dr. Jagger's medical interests include respiratory viral infections; emerging infectious diseases; and HIV infection. His key research interest is in the development of a vaccine for respiratory and arthropod-borne viral diseases.
Dr. Jagger is an assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Consortium.
