Betsy Krebs, DO

Dr. Betsy L. Krebs, DO, graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine & Bioscience and completed her general surgery residency at Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis. She is currently practicing with SSM Health Medical Group in partnership with Surgical Arts of St. Louis.

Dr. Krebs practices general surgery for patients 18 years of age and older. She provides service for all aspects of general surgery including breast care, abdominal surgery, and colorectal. She has clinical interests in robotic and laparoscopic hernia repairs. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Krebs has completed extensive training in Hidden Scar® Breast Cancer Surgery, an advanced approach to removing breast cancer. She performs both Hidden Scar Lumpectomy/Partial Mastectomy and Hidden Scar Mastectomy procedures. During Hidden Scar® Breast Cancer Surgery, the incision is made in the fold under the breast, around the edge of the nipple area or in the armpit, so the scar is less visible after breast surgery.
