Arifa Khan, MD

Arifa Khan, M.D., gastroenterologist, is board-certified specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions that affect all areas of the digestive tract. Driven by the values instilled in her by her faith and family, she is passionate about helping people heal and achieve their highest quality of life. She enjoys working with the other talented gastroenterologists at SSM Health St. Anthony, improving the gastrointestinal health of Oklahomans. Her philosophy is to listen to patients, while treating them as if they are her family or friends and to help them make an informed decision for their health.

Dr. Khan received a bachelor's degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. She then came to the United States and completed an internal medicine residency at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Additionally, Dr. Khan completed gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn. She is board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

When not caring for her patients, Dr. Khan enjoys reading books to her son and cooking in her free time.
