Ann Abbott Marin, DO

Dr. Ann "Annie" Abbott Marin is an osteopathic family medicine physician who provides care for patients of all ages-from newborns to older adults-throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. She specializes in preventive care, chronic disease management, women's health, and advanced care planning, and she values building lasting relationships with families as they grow.

As a DO, Dr. Marin has the same medical training as MDs, plus additional expertise in the musculoskeletal system. She uses osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT) to help with conditions ranging from muscle pain to respiratory issues and constipation. Her approach combines hands-on techniques with evidence-based medicine.

Dr. Marin believes in compassionate, whole-person care and meeting patients where they are in life. Her master's degree in bioethics informs her clinical judgment, and she is passionate about preventive and lifestyle medicine. She also values educating her patients, helping them understand their health and empowering them to take an active role in their care.

She has a special interest in supporting individuals and families affected by intellectual and developmental disabilities, shaped by her experience working in an interdisciplinary community during her training.

Dr. Marin serves on the board of the Missouri Society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Marin enjoys writing poetry and hopes to publish her work someday.
