He is wonderful! No matter how busy he is (and the Dodgeville clinic is always busy on the days he is there), he focuses on me. He doesn’t act rushed.

He is a very kind man besides being competent. I trust him. He knew I was afraid of getting an injection and he helped me through it with his calm explanations.

Addressed every aspect of my situation, but certainly pushed for time….likely needed to get on to the next patient….but graciously took a brief minute to answer a question related to incidents which would require immediate follow-up. Left me feeling that the “machine” of which he plays a critical role expects him to keep on moving so that his workload expectations are met.

I don't fear the eye injections if he or Dr. Wolf do them. Both are excellent providers.

In fairness to him, I only saw him for maybe 10-15 min. and it was my first interaction with him. Dr. K was respectful and thoughtful about the notes he read from my previous visits over the years with Dr. Wolf. I could tell he cared about me as a person and wanted to do his best for me and my vision.

The girl that first took me into a room was very nice! The girl that assisted Dr. K. was great also!

Dr K was really patient and checked in with me when doing a procedure. His staff also did that too. When I needed a break, Dr. K was very accommodating and gave me plenty of time to calm down without rushing me. I think that made a huge difference for me. I trust him to make decisions about my care.

He works so hard at the clinic but I always feels like he takes the time to focus on me when it is my turn.

Dr. Kulkarni is very good and I have no problems with his care. I believe he is over-scheduled, and to ensure he gets through his appointments efficiently, patients have to spend an inordinate amount of time waiting in the procedure room. To the extent that this is his decision, that would be my only complaint. I presume, however, that this is more about profit maximization from the administration to the detriment of patient experience.

There is only two doctors now with SSM health that I see and as Dr Worth to these two providers are the most personable friendly and they take all the time you need to know what you need to do with your injury.
