Dr. Agapov is board certified in ophthalmology. She obtained both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the Russian State Medical University. Upon moving to the US, she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to complete an internship at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York and her residency at the Metro Health Hospital (a Michigan State University Consortium) in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Agapov completed her fellowship in glaucoma at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN.
Dr. Agapov areas of interest include cataract surgery, anterior segment surgery, surgical and medical treatment of glaucoma, new innovations in glaucoma surgery, management of intraocular lens complications, and clinical research.
Dr. Agapov is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Osteopathic College of Ophthalmology. She is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the Madison Ophthalmologic Society.
When she's away from the office, Dr. Agapov enjoys reading, tennis, and spending time with her family.

Though it was a yearly routine appointment, I’d requested having a YAG procedure - which we had discussed at last year’s session. Dr. Agapov and Sasha her scribe figured out the logistics to make that happen. I’m very grateful!
