Alicia Santel, APRN-CNP

Alicia Santel, APRN-CNP, is a dedicated and patient-focused certified Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience, primarily in wound care. She earned her master's degree in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis and is trained in hyperbaric oxygen therapy. As a lead wound care nurse, Alicia assisted providers with specialized procedures such as debridement, removal of unhealthy tissue down to subcutaneous tissue, tendon, muscle, and bone, tissue or bone biopsy, electrocautery for hemostasis, incision and drainage, and suturing or stapling of skin and grafts. As a nurse practitioner, Alicia has been a wound care provider in a high-volume wound care clinic with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Alicia also worked in the skilled nursing facility providing specialized wound care to residents. Additionally, Alicia has experience in trauma step-down, neuroscience, orthopedics, nursing home and assisted living care, and at-home care.
