Jenny Schanzle, DO

Dr. Jennifer "Jenny" Schanzle is a board-certified adolescent medicine specialist caring for patients ages 12 through 22 throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. She provides outpatient and inpatient care for adolescents with eating disorders, supports reproductive health needs, treats substance use disorders, and helps patients manage concerns such as obesity and mental health conditions.

Dr. Schanzle believes in treating the whole-person and to provide evidence-based care. She is committed to building trust with teens and their families, promoting overall well-being, and empowering patients through shared decision-making, compassionate partnership, and individualized care that respects each patient's unique needs and goals.

Dr. Schanzle serves as an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Adolescent Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is a committee member on the Injury Prevention Committee for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schanzle is a devoted Disney World fan and has made visiting the parks a regular tradition, traveling there several times a year since starting her residency.
