Anne Gildehaus, APRN, CPNP-AC, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who provides critical care services for patients from birth to 21 years old. She specializes in traumatic brain injuries; post-operative care for congenital heart disease and transplantation; neurological critical care; asthma; acute respiratory distress syndrome; and sepsis management with the goal of improving patient outcomes.
Anne has extensive training with various health conditions, including hydrocephalus, brain tumors, Chiari malformations, spina bifida, and tethered spinal cord. She considers it a privilege to care for her patients, treating them the same way she would want her own child treated. She works diligently with her patients' families to establish a care plan that supports their overall goals.
Anne serves with the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Critical Care at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She also travels on medical mission trips to South America with the World Pediatric Project.
