Vera Nigrin, MD

Dr. Nigrin is board certified in radiation oncology. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She completed her internship in integrative medicine at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and her residency in radiation oncology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS. She then went on to complete a fellowship in radiation oncology at The University of Louisville in Louisville, KY and a fellowship in neuro-oncology prostrate at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Nigrin's practice is focused on radiation oncology with special interests in treating head and neck cancers.

Dr. Nigrin is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology Organization.

In her time away from work, Dr. Nigrin loves learning new languages. She speaks French, Spanish, Italian, and Czech and is learning German, Portuguese, and Swedish.
