Thomas Leibold, MD, FACS, completed an advanced laparoscopic surgery fellowship at the University of Virginia in 2006. He is certified to perform laparoscopic gastric, colon, spleen, adrenal, reflex, and hernia surgery, as well as general and endocrine surgery.

Dr. Leibold served his general surgery residency at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. His medical degree is from the University of Florida. Dr. Leibold also holds bachelor's degrees in industrial engineering and applied mathematics, both of which were earned at Georgia Institute of Technology.
