Tanzeel Iqbal, MD

Tanzeel Iqbal, MD, is an interventional cardiologist, specializing in coronary and vascular diseases. He is trained in both general and interventional cardiology.

Dr. Iqbal completed medical school at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He then came to the United States and completed several programs at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Iqbal completed an internal medicine internship and residency, followed by an interventional cardiology fellowship with training in both coronary and peripheral endovascular interventions. Additionally, Dr. Iqbal has experience caring for patients at St. Anthony Hospital. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge in scientific publications and is a member of multiple medical organizations in cardiology.

Dr. Iqbal is fluent in English, Urdu, Pubjabi, and Arabic.

When not providing care for his patients, Dr. Iqbal enjoys staying active, including playing soccer and going to the gym. He also enjoys watching sports.
