Shelly Russell, APRN, family medicine, provides compassionate primary care for children and adults. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and collaborating on their health decisions.

After growing up in southern Oklahoma, Shelly graduated from East Central University with a bachelor's degree in nursing. As a registered nurse, she served in multiple roles over 21 years in Pauls Valley, including surgery and emergency medicine. Shelly returned to school at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and earned a Master of Science in Nursing. Prior to joining the SSM Health team, she provided care to our service men and women at the Naval Hospital Bremerton in Bremerton, Wash. Shelly also has 10 years of experience serving Oklahomans in urgent care, pediatric cardiology and family medicine.

She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners and the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
