Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with an additional certificate in Sports Medicine, Seethal R. Madhavarapu, MD is a primary care physician specializing in Sports Medicine. He treats several musculoskeletal-related injuries and conditions, provides fracture management and performs ultrasound-guided injections (including PRP injections). He also helps manage general illnesses, concussions and exercise-induced asthma.

An Oklahoma native, he graduated from Casady High School before studying economics at Baylor University. He returned to Oklahoma for medical school and fellowship training, then went on to the University of Kansas, where he first served as a team physician for the athletic department; he has later gone on to serve as team physician for several local high schools as well as professional organizations such as the Oklahoma RedHawks, Oklahoma City Blazers and the OKC Energy. He has served as a volunteer team physician for University of Oklahoma athletic programs for more than a decade.

Dr. Madhavarapu has been named a Top Doctor by Oklahoma Magazine, which recognizes medical professionals for their training, skill, compassion and dedication to patient welfare. He also serves as a volunteer faculty member for the University of Oklahoma Sports Medicine Fellowship program and continues to be involved in the teaching of medical students, residents and fellows.
