Dr. Marx is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in treating sports injuries of the shoulder and knee. He has expertise in both arthroscopic and open techniques for treating injuries to the ACL, meniscus, cartilage, rotator cuff, and labrum in addition to shoulder and knee replacement surgery. He enjoys treating patients and athletes of all ages and abilities, working to help them get back to the activities that are most important in their lives.

Dr. Marx grew up in upstate New York where he played soccer and participated in track and field before attending the University of Notre Dame where he obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree. He returned closer to home to attend medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He remained at SUNY Upstate to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery. He continued his training at the University of Kentucky with a fellowship in Sports Medicine where he learned and adopted cutting-edge techniques in both arthroscopic and open surgical procedures from leading experts in their field.
