Sara Ficenec, MD

Dr. Sara Ficenec provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care services for patients ages 16 and older. She offers perinatal and postpartum care; labor and delivery care for vaginal and cesarean deliveries; well women exams; cervical cancer screenings; family planning; and management of abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian cysts, post-menopausal bleeding, pelvic pain, vaginitis, and other disorders of the female reproductive system. She performs gynecologic surgeries including hysterectomies; cystectomies; and uterine fibroid removals.

Dr. Ficenec provides equitable health care to women of all backgrounds, empowering them to understand their bodies so they can make the best choices for their reproductive health.

Dr. Ficenec is a clinical instructor with the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Women's Health, Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is also a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
