Randall Otto, MD

Dr. Randall Otto is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in shoulder and elbow surgery, including reconstruction and replacement, arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, and shoulder and elbow fractures. He has special expertise in total and reverse shoulder replacements and revision shoulder replacements.

Dr. Otto's research interests include shoulder arthroplasty, shoulder arthritis in the young adult and bone loss in shoulder arthroplasty.

Dr. Otto is an associate professor in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Division of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

He is a founding member of the Missouri Shoulder and Elbow Society, an associate member of American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is also a reviewer for a number of orthopedic medical journals.

Dr. Otto is a third-generation orthopedic surgeon, following in the footsteps of his grandfather and uncle.
