Dr. Fonseca is an experienced thoracic surgeon with a number of years in private practice. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University, completed his internship and residency at Wright State University and his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Additionally, Dr. Fonseca completed his doctorate from Purdue University in Biochemistry.

Dr. Fonseca is board certified in thoracic and general surgery. He has special interest in minimally invasive lobectomies utilizing the daVinci Surgical system.
