Muhammad Amin, MD

Muhammad Amin, MD, is passionate about human wellbeing and developing strong relationships with his patients and their families regarding their health decision. He is passionate about SSM Health's commitment to the community.

Dr. Amin completed medical school at Nishtar Medical University in Multan, Pakistan. He completed an internal medicine residency at Grant Hospital in Chicago, Ill. Dr. Amin then pursued a pulmonary disease fellowship at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. Prior to joining SSM Health Medical Group, Dr. Amin has served in private practice for more than 30 years. He is a former Chief of Staff at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital - Midwest. Dr. Amin is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Chest Physicians and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

He specializes in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer screening, pulmonary nodule evaluation and interstitial lung disease, among other conditions. Dr. Amin provides care for adults offering exceptional care and treatment for a wide range of pulmonary conditions.

When not caring for his patients, Dr. Amin enjoys volunteering for projects in the community and reading books.
