Dr. Mohammad Amin Hussain is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist with SSM Health Cancer Care in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of cancers and blood disorders, including lung, breast, colon and lymphomas, as well as both benign and malignant hematologic conditions.

With experience across academic and community cancer centers in the United States and Canada, Dr. Hussain takes an evidence-based, patient-centered approach to care. His clinical expertise includes procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, lumbar punctures and intrathecal chemotherapy, and he works closely with multidisciplinary care teams and bone marrow transplant programs to ensure coordinated, comprehensive treatment for his patients
