She comes from a pediatric intensive care setting as a pediatric nurse at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, and has over 7 years of experience as a pediatric nurse.

Michelle is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, St. Louis Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Association of Missouri Nurse Practitioners and a recipient of the 2018 Ambassador Choice Award.
