Matt Sotheran, PA-C

Matt Sotheran, PA-C, MPAS, is a board-certified physician assistant who works with Dr. Richard Helfrey, a general orthopedic surgeon and foot and ankle specialist at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake St. Louis and clinic sites in Wentzville and on Kisker Road in St. Charles. He assists in surgery and sees patients in clinic.

Matt received a bachelor of science degree in education at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, then earned basic EMT certification and worked in the Emergency Department at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles. He attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri, for physician assistant training and is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the Missouri Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
