Matt LoConte is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hospice and palliative medicine. He obtained his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago. Dr. LoConte completed his residency in internal medicine at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. He went on to complete fellowships in geriatric medicine and in hospice and palliative medicine at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI.
Dr. LoConte's practice is focused on pain management and compassionate care.
Dr. LoConte is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
While he is not working, Dr. LoConte enjoys hiking, home improvement projects, and learning new skills. He recently learned to scuba dive and previous to that, learned to sail. Dr. LoConte also enjoys traveling. He and his family visited Mexico a few years ago and loved the great mix of cultural, natural, and historical experiences.
