Dr. Scott is a native of St. Louis, MO. She graduated from University City High School. She then attended Washington University in St. Louis where she received a duel Bachelor's degree in Biology/African and Afro-American Studies. Dr. Scott then attended medical school at Saint Louis University where she completed her Ob/Gyn training in June 2008. She earned Chief Resident of the Year Award and Chief Resident demonstrating excellence in Laparoscopic procedures. Her professional affiliations include memberships in American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Gyn society. Dr. Scott was inspired to enter the medical field by her mother who also works in healthcare. Dr. Scott has a fascination with the human body, the pursuit of knowledge and a strong desire to be a "healer." Dr. Scott believes her greatest professional success is her ability to provide continuity and comprehensive care to women in her community during their entire life span. To care for her patients is a gift and an honor. Making a positive difference in a person's life is more reward than anything.
