Dr. Leah Conant is a general surgeon who specializes in both minimally invasive and robotic surgeries for patients ages 18 and older. She offers a suite of surgical services, including inguinal, umbilical, ventral, and incisional hernia repairs; skin and soft tissue excisions; appendectomies; cholecystectomies; and emergency general surgeries.

Dr. Conant's mission is to provide comprehensive surgical care - both elective and emergent - utilizing minimally invasive surgical techniques and evidence-based care. She strongly supports her patients as they navigate their challenging health journeys. She is also passionate about surgical education and ethics.

Dr. Conant is an assistant professor with the Division of General Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She is also a member of the Society of Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.

Fun fact: Dr. Conant knew she wanted to become a surgeon when she was in high school.
