Dr. Kishore Harjai is a heart doctor who specializes in structural and interventional cardiology. He offers a range of advanced procedures, such as TAVR using conscious sedation, non-surgical repair of the mitral valve, Watchman implantation for patients with A-fib who cannot take blood thinners, and complex coronary stenting.

His research interests include trials of coronary intervention, aortic valve replacement, mitral valve repair, Watchman implantation, patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD) closure.

Dr. Harjai is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Cardiology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.

Dr. Harjai enjoys outdoor activities, such as downhill skiing, biking and hiking, as well as singing, travel and reading.
