Kennedy Barrett, APRN, who grew up in Hinton, is a certified nurse practitioner. She provides obstetric and gynecologic care to women, conducting general women's health examinations and providing care throughout pregnancies.

Prior to completing her education as a nurse practitioner, Kennedy had worked as a registered nurse in labor and delivery for four years. She is certified in electronic fetal monitoring, intermediate fetal monitoring and in neonatal resuscitation.

Kennedy earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, Nashville. She had previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, graduating magna cum laude.

Kennedy is seeing obstetric and gynecologic patients in Shawnee.
