Dr. Katherine Rodby is a plastic surgeon who specializes in microsurgery techniques and free flap breast reconstruction (DIEP flap) in which a patient's own tissues are moved from another part of the body to the breast to replace tissue removed during a mastectomy. She treats lymphedema patients who experience swelling in the arms or legs, working closely with vascular surgery. In addition, she collaborates with orthopedic surgeons to assist with limb salvage after cancer or severe trauma to the lower extremities.

Her research interests include breast reconstruction and surgical education.

Dr. Rodby is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a candidate member of the American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons.
