Dr. Dewey is a board certified specialist in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Dewey earned her medical degree at New York University and was at the University of Chicago Hospitals for her ob/gyn residency, which included a year as administrative chief resident. After completing residency training, Dr. Dewey served four years as an instructor of clinical obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals.
Dr. Dewey's medical interests include routine well-woman services, as well as guidance related to family planning, management of infertility, menopause management, emergency and routine gynecologic care and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr Dewey actually listened to my concerns and came up with a solid plan.

She was incredibly rude. I felt like she didn’t listen to me. Pushed birth control on me when I said it has always affected me in such a negative way and was told by my previous out of state PCOS surgeon that BC with hormones would only feed my condition not help it. She would cut me short when I was trying to explain things to her. She just seemed to have an attitude with anything I said to her, very short answers at me. She also did a Pap smear on me and I have NEVER bled from them and I have had quite a few. She was so rough i was cramping the rest of the day and bleeding to the point of needing a panty liner.
