Dr. Julibeth Alvarez is a dedicated ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. She frequently helps patients with routine eye examinations and the diagnosis and management of dry eye disease, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye conditions, and eye infections.

Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, Dr. Alvarez brings a global perspective to her practice and remains actively involved in the ophthalmology community through memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Women in Ophthalmology (WIO), Women in Eyecare (WIE), the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS), and the Venezuelan Society of Ophthalmology. She also supports ACE Global, a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing blindness and expanding access to eye care.

Outside of work, Dr. Alvarez enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures. She loves spending time outdoors and finds peace in nature. She has been married to her husband, Luis, since 1997, and together they have three wonderful children: Luis, Andrea, and Isabella.
