Dr. Julia Stelmach is an audiologist with expertise in cochlear implants, bone-anchored implants, diagnostic testing, and hearing aids. She enjoys working with the latest clinical advancements to provide the best care for her patients. Her research focus is with cochlear implants - electronic devices that are surgically implanted to provide a sense of sound to those who are deaf or severely hard of hearing. Dr. Stelmach has authored and co-authored articles on hearing loss and cochlear implant research for several professional publications, including the International Journal of Audiology.

Dr. Stelmach is a staff member of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Division of Audiology, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.

She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

In addition to her degree in Audiology, Dr. Stelmach holds bachelor's degrees in both Speech & Hearing Science and Dance Performance from the University of Iowa.
