Jessica Meyer received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Truman State University. She had a 12-year career as a labor and delivery nurse where she developed a love and passion for pregnant mothers and their babies. She then went on to complete her Masters in Nursing and is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

As Nurse Practitioner for the OB Care Center at SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis, Jessica is a highly skilled, caring and compassionate nurse practitioner that specializes in low-risk obstetrical care.

Jessica states this is one of her favorite things about working at OB Care Center SSM Health DePaul Hospital. Working with moms to be that are experiencing stress is one of her strengths. It's not uncommon for them to feel as if their lives have unraveled. Jessica's passion is to provide quality care; bring healing to those moms who are going through stressful experiences. The OB Care Center supports this initiative by supporting moms on ways to find healthy solutions. Compassionate about her role as Nurse Practitioner, she displays this through how she engages with patients and caters her approach to each individual patient needs. She has the wherewithal that no single approach is the right one for every patient. Jessica has been trained in a range of modalities including low-risk obstetrics, sexually transmitted diseases, women's reproductive health and general family medicine.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. She loves to travel both locally and internationally and enjoys reading a good book.
