Ilias Oikonomopoulos, MD

Ilias Oikonomopoulos is board certified in rheumatology and in internal medicine. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pecs Medical School in Pecs, Hungary and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Mary's Health Center in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Oikonomopoulos went on to complete his fellowship in rheumatology at the University of South Florida Morsani College in Tampa, FL.

Dr. Oikonomopoulos' practice is focused on psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, gout, and system lupus erythematosus. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Oikonomopoulos is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.

In his free time, Dr. Oikonomopoulos enjoys bicycling, hiking, and cooking.
