I wish he would of explained to me what he found after the procedure. I asked for him and he was off doing a surgery. The nurse asked me if I wanted to wait. Not!

I have had experience with many surgeons over the years due to a surgical error. Some surgeons were specialists (colorectal, proctologists) and have treated me so poorly and dismissed my concerns. Dr. Lo is one of one and is consistently kind, respectful, compassionate and knowledgeable. He is humble and I know I am in the best hands possible to care for my unique situation and circumstances. Caring providers aren't made but born, and seem to be few and far between, and SSM is so fortunate to have Dr. Lo on staff.

The more I meet with him, the more comfortable I'm feeling with him. I appreciate that he isn't rushing me into making a decision on a surgery that I'm terrified of and is taking the time to answer all of my questions to make me feel comfortable.
