Dr. Ibendahl received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine (Rockford, IL). During her time in medical school, Dr. Ibendahl achieved multiple "Outstanding" designations for her work in Surgery Clerkship and in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, histology, embryology, and genetics.

Dr. Ibendahl then completed her general surgery residency training through the University of Missouri, Hospitals and Clinics.

As part of SSM Health Weight Management Services she focuses primarily on performing bariatric surgery to help weight-loss patients live healthier, longer lives.

She listens, draws out the issue and how she'll fix the issue. I will have surgery in August. Dr.Ibendahl is very easy to talk to. I would recommend her highly

She was great at explaining things! Recommending things to me that dealt with my past in smoking, especially for surgery. I give props to her because doing this for 4 people almost the same way she surely did read all her information and prepared herself compared to other doctors I feel like in my opinion.

She was very professional and made me feel comfortable in what the next steps were going to be to help correct my issue.

Erica seems to listen to what my needs are. She doesn't seem perturbed when I ask a question or when I need an answer over the phone by calling the office.
