Dr. Reding grew up in Fort Smith, Ark. He was always interested in biological sciences and chemistry in school. While attending the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he was majoring in zoology, he volunteered as an orderly in the surgery center of St. Edward's Hospital in Fort Smith during the summers. His volunteer work at the hospital sparked his interest in the medical field, and he eventually decided to pursue a career in medicine.

Dr. Reding is board certified in dermatology. He is married to Stacie Rougas, MD, who is a physician at Oklahoma Children's Hospital.
