Emily Walden, APRN-CNM Obstetrics and Gynecology, Certified Nurse Midwife in Janesville, WI

Emily Walden, Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), provides compassionate, personalized care to women throughout every stage of life. Walden earned her midwifery certification from Case Western Reserve University and brings extensive nursing and midwifery experience to her practice.

Walden is passionate about empowering women to make informed decisions about their health and believes in building strong, trusting relationships with her patients. She provides evidence-based care with a patient-centered approach, supporting women through family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and ongoing gynecologic and women's health needs.

Walden is also an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and enjoys helping families navigate both common and complex breastfeeding and lactation challenges. She believes that early, individualized, and non-judgmental support can prevent small concerns from becoming large issues.

When not caring for patients, Walden enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, traveling, playing Mahjong, and knitting. She is the proud mother of three daughters and shares her home with a beloved cat and dog. A fun fact is that before pursuing a career in nursing and midwifery, Walden studied opera and piano in college.
