Elise Hirsekorn, APRN-CNP

Elise Maletich, DNP, FNP, is a nurse practitioner who specializes in treating pulmonary disease in patients of all ages. She collaborates with an extensive pulmonology team at the hospital to provide inpatient pulmonary services, specifically diagnosing and treating lung and respiratory system conditions such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD), and idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). She also conducts thorough respiratory assessments; orders and interprets diagnostic tests; develops treatment plans; manages medications; and makes lifestyle recommendations to help her patients improve their overall lung health and outcomes.

Elise is a hardworking, reliable, and empathetic nurse practitioner who is motivated to serve her patients and their families using evidence-based medicine and individualized care, while promoting patient autonomy. She also has extensive experience in emergency medicine, trauma, critical care medicine, and acute care surgery.
