Dr. McCollister is board certified in general surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia and completed his residency and fellowship in surgical endoscopy training at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. McCollister started the "Hey! Where's Your Helmet?" campaign to help educate people of all ages about the importance of wearing a helmet when cycling, rollerblading, etc. In addition to his involvement in safety awareness, Dr. McCollister takes a special interest in endoscopic procedures.
