David Butler, MD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist who treats patients 18 years and older. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Louisville James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

Dr. Butler has been in practice since 1994, authored many research publications and held a variety of leadership positions throughout his career. He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational German. His medical interests include prostate cancer brachytherapy, stereotactic body radiation therapy and thyroid malignancies.

At the heart of his practice, Dr. Butler is committed to providing patients the best possible outcomes through personalized cancer management and seamless collaborative care with other health care professionals.

Outside of work, Dr. Butler enjoys cycling and travel.
