Grateful to Dr. Schmitt for suggesting two years ago that I ask my OB-GYN about the possibility of having PCOS. That condition was confirmed in the same OB-GYN appointment where I was found to have a very early onset of uterine cancer. Successful surgery and subsequent "all clears" two years later have been the result of that initial ask. It wasn't Dr. Schmitt's wheelhouse, but her care for her patients goes beyond checking on skin aberrations. Thank you.

Appointment was 9:15am. - Got in at 9:40am. Made me a little nervous about making my next appointment.

Skin conditions can range from something very minor to something very serious. It was very helpful to get this resolved so quickly.

During all of my previous visits Dr. Schmitt has always been very direct and somewhat rushed. Although I prefer a doctor with a better bedside manor I have been ok with how she has treated me because it wasn't offensive or disrespectful. This visit was different. She was direct and rushed but also seemed disrespectful and uncaring. I left the appointment feeling like I didn't get all my concerns addressed because she dismissed the things I told her and I was rushed through the appointment.

Great caring staff!

I am sure Dr. Schmitt is very busy, however, when we tried to make an appointment for my wife she stated I would have to go through the appointment desk. I was told She would have to wait a year to get in, also, no other dermetologist was available for st least a year. She had already been to urgent care and needs more treatment. This is true with most Dr’s at Saint Mary’s. Very disappointing. We spend a lot of money on Dean Advantage and should get better treatment rather than being told your best option is going to urgent care which is luck of the draw.

Great Dr. is in and out quite quickly.

I felt like my concerns were not acknowledged. Dr. Schmitt was very dismissive and quick to leave the room. She told me that she is "more of a medical dermatologist" and recommended I go on TikTok for any preventative skin care advice. It was very disappointing to wait months for this appointment to be basically told I don't need a dermatologist if I don't have skin cancer.

After waiting more than a year and a half to get an appointment-not her fault- she was so kind.(I was very nervous). She explained everything very thoroughly, and I fount her charmingly witty.
