Dr. Brett Pariseau specializes in oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Some of the conditions he treats include the following.

The face:

Botox - both cosmetic and functional treatments (hemifacial spasm, blepharospasm).

Droopy eyelids - Blepharoplasty (remove extra lid skin), Ptosis repair (raise the upper lid).

Droopy brows - A low brow can push upper lid skin downward. Treatment includes endoscopic, pretrichial, midforehead, direct and internal brow lifts.

Eyelid skin cancer - He works with dermatology Mohs surgeons who carefully remove the cancer, and he then repairs the defect.

Ectropion - eyelid turns out away from the eye.

Entropion - eyelid turns in, with lashes rubbing against the eye.

Trichiasis - Eyelid is in normal position, but lashes rub against the eye.

The orbit:

Orbital inflammation, tumors, and fractures.

Thyroid eye disease.

Enucleation, evisceration and exenteration.

Tear ducts:

A blocked tear duct can cause tearing.

Dr. Pariseau has been the president of the Wisconsin Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery since 2016. A peer reviewer for the Journal of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, his publications appear in PubMed under "Pariseau B." He is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

On our second visit at a different location, he did not waste time and was a bit more willing to have a conversation rather than simply tell me what to do. His delivery of the steroids was as painless as I would deem possible for the bodily area. As he was departing, he did ask if I wanted him to write down the 'potato method'.
