Following residency, Dr. Gelven completed a fellowship in sports medicine at Atlanta Sports Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, with advanced training in the treatment of cartilage injuries. Dr. Gelven operated on me a couple of years ago and performed a complete left knee replacement, which is functioning amazingly. He and his staff are available and caring. I always feel welcome and receive the best care from everyone on the medical team!

Everyone in the office, from reception to the end of my appointment, is great. Thoughtful, kind, compassionate. As a person that was a nurse for 40 years, it’s the kind of office I would have loved to be a part of!
