Amber Duncan, APRN-CNP Obstetrics and Gynecology, Advanced Practice Nurse, Nurse Practitioner in Midwest City, OK

Amber Duncan, CNP, first became interested in health care at a young age, as she realized she had a strong desire to help people. Amber carries that same desire today, where she values building relationships with her patients and treating them as she would her own family.

Amber graduated with a bachelor's degree in nursing from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark. She served as a registered nurse for six years. Amber returned to school at the University of Cincinnati and earned a Master of Science in Nursing - Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior to joining SSM Health, Amber has provided care to women in the Oklahoma City area for five years alongside Dr. Marilyn Appiah and Dr. John Cherry.

She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health.

When not caring for her patients, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and their two dogs. She played college softball during her time at Henderson State University and continues to be a fan of the sport today.
